Romance Anthologies
We
want your stories, short ones or even poetry. What we would like to do
is create several anthologies based strictly on genre and put them up
on the web through Lulu.com.
For now, all proceeds will go to Word Weavers to maintain our websites
as well as our CafePress shops. All Authors will keep the rights to
their work. Hey, if someone reads it and likes it and wants to publish
it, we want you to be able to do just that!! We're here to promote our
author friends, not hinder them. Below is the Deadlines and
Guidelines. Please read them carefully before submitting any work and
as always, if you have any questions, feel free to ASK.
Deadlines and Guidelines
All Submissions MUST be Romance or Romance related!
No less than 2,500 words if it is a short story and no more than 6,500.
Flash will be accepted. Up to three flash pieces that equal less than 6,500 words.
Poetry will be accepted.
Please include a blurb about yourself in your word .doc on the last page of your story. DO NOT include personal addresses or phone numbers!
While we know that most material will not be suitable for under 18 years of age, please let us know in advance.
No Erotica, a little spice is nice, but full blown Erotica should be submitted to the Erotic Anthology
All Authors maintain the copyrights to their submissions.
All Authors will receive a free .PDF file of the completed anthology and will be expected to help promote the work.
Deadline for our first Romance Anthology is June 30th, 2008.
All submissions should be sent in a document format (Microsoft Word is good) here.
Times New Roman, 12 pt. Font, 1 inch margins, justified, no hard breaks (use ***** for breaks)
